Natural Remedies for Abdominal Pain

Below are the natural remedies that are found useful in the treatment of abdominal pain:



- Fast for a day or two.

- Subject the abdomen to fomentation for 5 to 10 minutes and apply a mud pack or a wet pack. This is an effective natural remedy for abdominal pain.

- After the pain begin to subside, start with liquid diet, then follow it with the raw uncooked food, and then gradually resume your daily consumption of cooked food. Continue to take light food for several days.

- If the pain is caused by gas in the stomach, perform the pavanamuktasana, conductive to the release of the gas via the anal orifice, for 5 to 10 minutes.

- Another useful natural remedy for abdominal pain is the warm water enema. Take a warm water enema daily for two or three days, and then on alternate days.
