Natural Remedies for Conjunctivitis

Below are the natural remedies that are found useful in the treatment of conjunctivitis:

- The food given to the children should be simple and should include seasonal fruits and vegetables.

- The eyes should be washed thoroughly with lukewarm water using a cotton swab.

- A mud pack may be applied for half an hour twice daily. Cover the eyes with a thin cotton cloth and spread mud lightly over that. Keep the pack for 10 to 15 minutes. This will help ease the trouble. Take care to ensure that the clay used for mud pack is clean.
